The screen above shows the redeemed amounts on gift card or gift certificate payments as well as any carryover totals. Carryover totals: If a customer redeemed $50.00 on his or her Gift Card or Certificate and you do not give a cash out for change then you will have a carryover amount. This is stored in the program and can be viewed under the individual gift card balances. The current balance will be the issued amount minus any redeemed amount plus any carry over totals which are added back into the current balance. * Note: The plastic gift card system has no carryovers. Each time a customer makes a payment by Gift card or Certificate, the amount is posted and the balance is reduced. The current balance is cumulative on the customers screen. Each time you sell another certificate, you would add that certificate to the total and then that amount is deducted per usage. ** This does not apply to X-Charge and their gift cards, just the manual gift certificates. With X-Charge the card is swiped when redeemed and you can generate reports on the administrators screen on the X-Charge server.

Manager area where permissions for users are set. If you think your employees will forget their usernames, you can assign them a BARCODE number. Create a barcode and print it out on Avery labels and place the employees name and barcode on either a plastic card or a paper card.
