Some features require that you update your software. Since updates are free, just click under help at the top of the salon menu and then click on download update. You can use the update even on the trial version. Your data is saved, you will not have to reinstall the program if you decide to purchase.

Print out a report of each employees schedule for any date range or print out all employees. Appointment Times will appear in order by date and time. Print out appointments for customers as well.

Drag and Drop of appointments -Drag an appointment to another column or within the same column if no conflict exists.

 

Added to recurring feature for appointments is the ability to book 3,4,6 and 8 week intervals. 3 weeks is 21 days from the first appt. 4 weeks is booked at every 28 days to the exact same day as the first appt. 6 Weeks is book at 42 days, and 8 week intervals is booked at 56 days from the date of the first appointment. In other words it will book 4 weeks from the date of the first appointment, on the same day of the week.2 weeks and *monthly already existed and has not been changed. 

* Monthly and every 4 weeks are not the same. Monthly will book for example Jan 5 and Feb 5 regardless of the day of the week it falls on.

Note: If you have Microsoft Word, you can use the address label wizard in Word to import Customers Table and create mailing labels( you will need to refer to Microsoft's word help file for examples). If you are not comfortable with Word, there is a FREE Software Program  that will help you to create your labels Click here

Please remember to right click on the Word toolbar and check off mailmerge to be able to view the arrow keys to scroll through the database.

 

If you have Microsoft's Excel, you can import any table from the database to Excel as the Salon Salon II has an Access backend database!

We are now offering extended support of the software which is on a yearly basis. The extended support will help you if you need database repair or troubleshooting of issues related to installation on Vista. It is also by email only. The database cannot be repaired or fixed over the phone.
